Grading System:

The IWCI Grading System is made up of 10 Levels represented by 5 colors in the Chinese Wing Chun characters printed on the left chest of the uniforms worn by the students in practice, competition and demonstrations.

The attainment of each level is achieved by the student upon his successful learning and passing the examination as set by IWCI on both the ‘Theory' and ‘Practice' for the specific Level. The ‘Theory' and ‘Practice' parts of each level are designed by the IWCI Headquarter s to cover appropriately the contents and skills to be learned by the student in relation to the components of ‘Form', ‘Technique', ‘Drills', ‘Tactics & Maneuver', and ‘Chi Sao' of that level. The details of these components for all levels add up to the total curriculum of IWCI as shown in details in the Curriculum sections below.
